Set a fixed discount for a customer
Learn how to link a fixed discount (percentage or amount) to a customer, which is automatically applied at the till.
With the customer discount function, you can link a fixed discount or a discount percentage to a specific customer. This discount is then automatically applied when you select the customer at the till.

Go to the customer card
In the main menu, click on Customers (under Sales) and search for the customer you want to give the discount to. Click View next to their name.

Start editing
You will now see the customer page. Click the Edit button in the top right corner.

Set the discount
Scroll to the Customer discount section. Enter the desired discount percentage or the fixed discount amount here. By default, this is set to percentage, but you can also select Amount.

Save the settings
Click Save in the top right corner to save the fixed discount for this customer.
How it works at the till
When you select the relevant customer in a new transaction at the till, the set discount is automatically applied to the total amount.
Double-check the discount
The discount is immediately visible on the till screen before you complete the payment. This allows you to always check whether the correct discount is being processed.
