Create safe for cash register closing

With the 'Safe' function, you know exactly how much cash you have skimmed. This is important for accounting.

How do you create a (location) Safe?

1. Click on 'Store Settings' in the menu

2. Click on the 'General settings' tab

3. Click or scroll to the 'Location Management' section

4. Click on the 'Add location' button

A new screen appears.

5. Enter the name. For example 'Safe'. (Do you have multiple branches? Then create a separate safe for each branch and name it 'Safe Utrecht' for example).

6. Enter the other details.

7. Select the location type 'Safe'.

8. Enter the country and optionally the address.

9. Click on 'Save'.

The label 'safe' will then be displayed behind the relevant location.

Multiple branches? Link the safe to the correct location

It is important to create a separate safe for each branch. These are the steps to then link the safe to the correct location.

1. Click on 'Store Settings' in the menu

2. Click on the 'General settings' tab

3. Click or scroll to the 'Location Management' section

4. Click on the 'Eye' icon behind the branch.

5. Select the correct safe in the 'Default safe location' field

6. Click on 'Save'.
