Using PAY without PrismaNote
Using PAY without PrismaNote
It may happen that it is not possible to complete a payment from PrismaNote.
That is why we describe here the steps that can take to make a payment via PAY.nl
For these steps you need login details for PAY. You can save this page to the favorites so that you have it quickly at hand. We also recommend that you perform these steps once in advance so that you know what screens look like and where to click.
Steps through the browser
- 1
Log in admin.pay.nl with the login details.
- 2
After logging in, click on Euro sign right below the text 'PAY.admin' (top left)
- 3
The 'collect desk' now opens in which you can create payments. We go through the options.
The options shown may vary. These depend on the payment methods used within PAY
Create payment link
This allows you to create a payment and possibly send it directly by e-mail to the customer. The customer pays as if it were an online payment, and can choose all payment methods enabled.
Payment request by SMS
It works the same as the payment link. But now the request is sent to the customer by SMS. You pay extra costs for SMS.
QR code payment
You create a payment, then a QR code is shown that the customer can scan in his Banking app.
Instore payment
This creates a payment that is sent directly to the PIN device. You can track the status of the payment in the screen that opens and this works similar to a pin transaction within PrismaNote.
Redeem gift card or Voucher
If you also accept gift cards you can accept these cards via this option.
For all options apply:
- Choose the right sales location (if you have several).
- The return URL is not required.
- Entering the order number is useful to be able to link this payment to a voucher later, but is not mandatory.
- With the orange button 'Add' at the bottom of the screen you create the payment.
Steps through the PAY app
The above steps can also be performed in the PAY.nl app. Visit https://www.pay.nl/app to download the app.
- 1
After logging in to the PAY.nl app, click on 'Payment'
- 2
Here you will find the same options as described above. These also work in the same way.
