7 min read·Updated 12/05/2026

With the PrismaNote Shopify integration:

  • Your products with all product information are automatically (and directly) updated in Shopify.

  • Your stock from all locations is automatically (and directly) updated in Shopify. For this, each location is created separately in Shopify.

  • Your web orders from Shopify are directly transferred to PrismaNote.

  • If you set the web order to "Completed" in PrismaNote and add a tracking link, this will also be directly updated in your Shopify account.

  • If you set the web order to "Delivered" in PrismaNote, this will also be directly updated in your Shopify account.

In this guide, you will discover how to link Shopify to your PrismaNote account.

  1. From your Shopify account, copy your ...myshopify.com link.
  1. In the PrismaNote menu, click on "Shop Settings".

  2. Click on the "Shopify" tab.

  3. Paste your ....myshopify.com link into the "Shop Name" field.

  4. Click the "Connect" button.

  5. You will now be redirected to Shopify. Click the "Install" button to install the PrismaNote (Retailgear) App.

  6. You will now be redirected back to the PrismaNote settings page. Here you will see a tick icon next to the "Shop Name" option. Click the "Export" button next to the "Export products" option.

Wait until the products have been transferred to Shopify. You will then also see a tick icon.

Tip

In Shopify, you will now see:

  • Your products.

  • Your store locations have been created under Locations (via the Settings menu).

If you change the product information of a product in PrismaNote, this will be automatically adjusted directly on the product in Shopify.

  1. In the Shopify menu, click on "Products".

  2. Select all products.

  3. Click the button with the 3 dots and choose the "Add to sales channels" option.

  1. A new screen will appear. Select the "Online store" and "Shop" options.

  2. Click the black "Add" button.

Set up shipping method and costs to sell products

  1. Now, at the bottom of the Shopify menu, click on "Settings".

  2. Click on the "Locations" option.

  3. Click on the location where you have the products in stock.

  4. Click on the "Shipping" heading (on the settings page for this location).

  5. Scroll to the "Not shipping from these locations" section.

  6. Next to the location, click the "Add rate" button and select the desired rate.

  1. At the top of Shopify, click the "Save" button.

  2. In the Settings menu, click on "Locations" again and click on the location where you have the product stock. Next to the "Shipping" heading, you will now see the text "On".

  3. You can also activate the "Pick up in store" option. Don't forget to activate the transfer of store stock if you have multiple locations.
