Mobile printing

To be able to print from a mobile device in your store, you need to follow a number of steps.

What you need to set up mobile printing:

• a desktop computer (or several) to which the printer(s) are connected

• a mobile device (Android or iOS) that is connected to the same network as your desktop devices

• The IP address of your desktop devices

• PrismaNote Printhelper installed on all desktop devices (you do not need to install an app on mobile devices)

Step 1: Set up the workstations in PrismaNote

Create all workstations

Upload certificate to workstations with printers

Step 2: Set up the certificate on the mobile devices

Log in PrismaNote > Store settings > General > Download certificate from devices

2a: Android

Download certificate

Settings > (Biometrics) and Security > Other security settings

Install from device storage > CA certificate > Install anyway

Browse to downloads > select certificate

Refresh the page in the browser

2b: iOS

Download certificate (profile)

Open settings > set up profile

Install > Approve > activate

Settings > Info > Certificates > Approve JSPrintManager

Refresh page in browser

Step 3: Set up printers on the workstations

Select workstation > Select printer

Step 4: Test print
