Merge Products

Linking a product cannot be undone.

Manually link product

1. In the menu, click 'Assortment'

2. Search for the relevant product you want to merge with the correct product (i.e., the product you want to disappear)

3. Click the arrow icon next to the 'View' button

4. Click the 'Merge' option

5. Type the product number or EAN number and press Enter or click the search icon.

6. Click the correct result and the product will be merged immediately.

Merge products in bulk

1. In the menu, click 'Bulk updates'

2. Click the 'Link products' option

3. Click the supplier

4. Click the item group

5. A new window appears. Select the products you want to update / link.

6. Check the supplier numbers.

7. Select the correct brand

8. Click the 'Search product' button

9. If a product is not found, you can start a new search with this button.

10. This indicates whether the product is linked or enriched.

11. Click the 'Connect' button to merge the products in bulk.

More explanation about what linking entails

Most jewellers already have a POS system before switching to PrismaNote. This data is completely imported into the new system. This is automatically matched with the central product database (so that you use the supplier's product and more filters and photos are filled in). The number of products that can be automatically matched depends on the quality of the imported data. For example, does your product already have an EAN number and the supplier's product number? Then the system can find a match faster. All other products can be manually linked (once) to the official product.
