Serial numbers

Products from expensive brands may have a unique serial number for warranty and theft.

In PrismaNote, you can add these to the purchase order when booking items.

_You can also export a list via the 'Assortment' menu.

Add serial number

Do you want to give each product a unique serial number?

- Click the 'Serial number' button after a product has been added to the purchase order. You can click as many times as the 'ordered quantity' of the product.

- Enter the serial number in the field.

- Click the 'Save' button after the serial numbers have been added. You can then edit them again.

Search by serial number in the cash register

Do you want to search for a product by serial number?

- Click 'Cash register' in the menu.

- Below the search bar, turn on the 'Serial number' toggle.

- Type the serial number in the search bar.

- The product will now be found by its serial number.

Export serial numbers

Do you want an overview of all your serial numbers?

- Click 'Assortment' in the menu.

- Click the button with the 3 dots in the top right corner.

- Click the 'Export serial numbers' option.

A file will now be created and downloaded with the item number, the supplier's product number, the serial number, the status (whether it has been sold or is still available), and the store location. It also shows whether the product has been booked as ownership, sight, or consignment.
