Storage locations for repairs

Do you have a workshop or a larger repair department with multiple workbenches and storage locations? With storage locations you can easily keep track of where a repair is located in the shop, for example on a workbench, in a drawer or in the stockroom. This allows everyone in the shop to immediately see where a repair is located.

You can select a storage location manually on the repair page or quickly set it by scanning a barcode.

Creating and managing storage locations

Click Shop settings in the menu.

Click the POS tab.

Scroll down to the Storage locations section.

Here you can add and manage storage locations.

Adding a new storage location

Click the Add storage location button.

Enter the name of the storage location (for example Workbench 1, Stockroom, Drawer 3).

Save the storage location.

Use clear names for storage locations such as Workbench 1, Safe, Stockroom A or Counter drawer 2. This makes it easier for staff to find repairs quickly.
