Changing the Header (main menu)
Do you only want to adjust the navigation? Then view the article structuring the menu.
The header is the top part of your website that contains the logo and navigation. There are many different ways to determine the style of your header so that you can create an attractive main menu for your website.
Change header layout to a 'Collapsible Menu'
First, you can set what kind of menu you want to use for desktop, tablet, and mobile. By default, this is the header where the menu is shown at the top (as on most websites), but here you can also set a collapsible menu for the desktop (as is used by default on mobile).
Tip
First, you need to open the website builder. These are the two steps.
Set a different header
1. Click on 'Theme' in the left sidebar menu
2. Choose the heading 'Site Layout'.
3. Here you can choose the standard menu or collapsible menu.

Have you made changes in the header? These will be lost if you choose a different design. Therefore, in most cases, it is more interesting to change the appearance by dragging elements to other places.
Change menu appearance
1. Hover your mouse over the header and click on the bar that appears with the text 'Header' or 'Koptekst'.
2. In the pop-up that appears, click 'Edit Design'
3. Another pop-up will appear. Various settings can be made here.
Header types
There are three header types available:
1. Static (the header remains at the top)
2. Sticky (the header scrolls down with you)
3. Flexible (combination of both)
Static header
Do you want the header to remain at the top and not scroll down?
1. Hover your mouse over the header and click on the bar that appears with the text 'Header' or 'Koptekst'.
2. In the pop-up that appears, click 'Edit Design'
3. Another pop-up will appear. Scroll to the 'Shrinking Header' section
4. Turn this switch off.
Sticky header
Do you want the header to scroll down with you and stick to the top?
1. Hover your mouse over the header and click on the bar that appears with the text 'Header' or 'Koptekst'.
2. In the pop-up that appears, click 'Edit Design'
3. Another pop-up will appear. Scroll to the 'Shrinking Header' section
4. Turn this switch on (see above)
Flexible header
Do you want the header to scroll down partially? This is possible if the header consists of multiple rows. So first add a new row to the header. Then follow the same steps as for 'Sticky Header'. Another switch has now also appeared to make only the row with the menu (navigation) sticky.
Mobile header
The mobile header has a fixed size and cannot be adjusted, but you can change its content:
1. Click on the “Mobile view” icon in the top navigation bar.
2. Click on the content in the header to edit it.
3. If you now click on the menu, you can also change the design of the collapsible menu.
