Create new pop-up

1. In the left-hand menu, click on Pages

2. Then click on 'Pop-ups'

3. Click the 'New pop-up' button to edit one of the standard pop-ups

4. Select one of the options, add a name, and click the 'Add pop-up' button

5. You can then customize this content, just as you would customize the website content.

By clicking 'Pop-up settings', you can edit the size, border, background, shadow, and animation.

Do you want the pop-up to be visible only, and the rest of the website to be (partially) obscured? Choose the desired color under 'Site overlay' and determine the opacity.

Set up pop-up

After creating the pop-up, you can set when you want to display it.

Displaying a pop-up can be done in simply 2 ways. When a visitor clicks something (like a button) or when they open the website.

1. Display with a click

In this example, we use a button, but it could also be an image or text, where you can paste the link.

1. Click the button (or the link icon) so the pop-up appears.

2. Then select the Pop-up option and select the pop-up you created.

2. Display when the page opens

For this, you use the personalization tool, which offers many more possibilities such as specific notification bars, special effects, and personalized information. On this page, we will explain how to set up the pop-up when the website opens.

1. Click 'Personalize' in the left sidebar menu

2. Under the heading 'Build yourself', click the 'Build rule' button

3. A new screen will then open, where you can select when the pop-up should be displayed.

Do you want to display the pop-up to all visitors who come to the website? Then select the checkbox 'Display for all visitors (no trigger)' under the options and click the 'Next' button.

4. Here you can set what content you want to show. Click on Pop-up here and again on the 'Next' button.

5. Finally, you set which pop-up and on which page you want to show it.

Under “Choose Page”, you can also select the option All Pages at the bottom of the list. Then click the 'Next' button again.

6. The pop-up you are about to show will appear one more time, allowing you to edit it if necessary. If you agree, you can click the 'Done' button in the top right corner.

7. Finally, click the 'Save Rule' button to activate the pop-up setting.

Deactivate pop-up

1. Click on Personalize in the left sidebar menu

2. Click the Gear icon behind the trigger

3. Click 'Deactivate' or 'Delete' here

Delete pop-up

It is also possible not to delete the pop-up, but to hide it, so you can use it again later. Read the heading 'Deactivate pop-up' above.

1. In the menu, click on Pages

2. Click Pop-ups at the top

3. Click the gear icon behind the relevant pop-up

4. Click the 'Delete' button
